Louis, Jr., Louis and Gretchen's fourth child, was born May 12, 1922. Louis married Verla Stone (born August 28, 1922) on December 28, 1946. Louis and Verla's daughter, Niceene Kay was born September 1, 1949.

Louis farmed and drove a truck after
serving in the military in W.W. II. He was a life member of the Illinois
Appaloosa Association and member of several other equestrian associations.
Louis died October 17, 1999, while in a barn on his farm south of Havana, Illinois.
