George Busch, born July 15, 1905, second child of Garrett and Gertrude Hortgen Busch, grew up in a prosperous family in New Jersey. He took over his father's jewelry business. He married Helen Godnin Behee October 26, 1926.

George is shown here in 1918 at age 13. He is standing.

George died in his sleep in June, 1970, at age 65. Helene preceeded him in death at age 49, on February 12, 1952. They had no children.
